Church Window is an original 12x12" studio oil painting. What attracted me to this scene was the strong composition—specifically how the two classic brownstone buildings perfectly framed the side of this old church, and the way the light hit the stained glass windows.

Developing this piece in the studio, I focused on keeping the brushwork loose and selective. By reducing the complex architecture into essential shapes, the painting highlights the quiet beauty found within our daily urban landscape. It explores a classic cityscape view, capturing a sense of calm, history, and presence amidst the busy surrounding structures.
